Below is the Risk Management Sheet, it’s mainly designed for challenges, but can also be used on live accounts.

You can fill in your own original balance and current balance on the account, once you do that it will calculate how much the ideal risk is for your next trade.

There’s a conservative approach below the normal approach.

Tip:

When the risk goes up for you, ideally you want to risk the same amount twice so you won’t get stuck in a break even cycle. For example: I drop to 0.5% risk and now I’m ready to be back at 1% risk, if I risk 1% and drop back to 0.5% after my first loss when upping the risk and then I win again with 0.5% risk, I will be in a break even cycle. So if I up my risk to 1%, no matter if the next trade is a loss or a win I want to risk 1% again, if that’s a loss then I drop back to 0.5%.
